Maternity leave is officially over and I had my first session of the year today!  I can’t tell you how great it is to be back to work.

Yesterday I shared some pictures of one of my favorite wedding moments – the “first look.”  Today I’m going to share another favorite – that moment right after the first kiss as husband and wife.  This is the split second when  you can see the absolute joy the bride and groom feel.  In that moment I am capturing quite possibly the happiest moment of their lives.  What an honor!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of that joyous moment:

I love albums.  Love them.  There is just something wonderful about seeing your wedding day on paper, touching the pages, and smelling the leather.  It’s so much more meaningful than looking at the photos on a computer screen.  Flushmount albums are included in my “Epic” package (contact me for wedding package details).

Here are some photos of my sample album:

All wrapped up pretty.  My sister and I are working on designing some custom fabric covers to protect the albums.  I can’t wait to show those off!

The cover.  This one is very simple, but there are a wide range of options for your album cover.

LOVE the imprinted spine!!  Just like a real book. :)

All Flushmount albums lay flat when open.

It’s all one page – just a little fold in the middle.

Contact me to see this sample album in person!

Over the next few days I’ll be doing a series on my favorite wedding moments.  The first moment I’ll cover is the “first look.”  It’s that moment that every bride dreams of.  It’s the time of the day when everything else comes to a hault – all the stress of the day melts away.  In my opinion, the “first look” is probably the most romantic part of a wedding day.

Here are some of my favorite “first look” pictures.

Okay, this one isn’t the actual first look, but check out how Brian is looking at Jessica.  I love capturing moments like that!

My maternity leave will soon come to a close, but for now I am enjoying plenty of sweet moments like this:

This is Micah, 6 weeks old, hanging out in the Baby K’tan.
