A few weeks ago I had the privilege of meeting up with Denae Hutson (denaehutsonphotography.com) and her family for some pictures.  If you are in Lubbock, you should definitely contact her!  She is an awesome photographer.

Here are some of my favorites from the session:

I always tell clients that newborn sessions need to be done within the first two weeks of the baby’s life because that is when we are able to get the cuddly, sleepy shots that everyone loves so much.  This little girl is 6 (almost 7) weeks old, and she totally surprised me by sleeping during our time together.  She was a great little model!

Amanda and Benjamin are such an amazing couple.  It was an absolute honor to shoot their wedding.

The girls got ready at Amanda’s apartment with their awesome make-up artist Lynn Eason, of Divine Inspirations Make-Up.

After the make-up was done, we all headed to the chapel to finish getting ready!

Amanda and Ben chose to see each other before the ceremony so that we could get the bulk of the formal shots out of the way.  It is so special to me to be part of such an emotional moment of the couple’s wedding day.

Even though they saw each other before the ceremony, it felt just as special when Ben first saw Amanda walk down the aisle.

Their cake was awesome and smelled heavenly.  In case you can’t read it, they have 1st Corinthians chapter 13 quoted on the middle tier.

Congratulations, Amanda and Ben!!

Jen is a friend from college, and I was so excited when she contacted me to shoot her wedding.  I was especially excited when she told me that the wedding would be in downtown Fort Worth at Bass Hall.  I love Fort Worth!

It was such a fun wedding, and I am still exhausted!  Congratulations, Jen and Chad!

Just as I suspected, Brittney and Landon’s wedding was GORGEOUS.  The wedding ceremony was held at The Piazza in the Village in Colleyville.  It is definitely one of the coolest venue’s I’ve ever seen.  The bride and groom’s dressing rooms came complete with flat-screen TV’s which they could use to watch the guests arrive for the ceremony!

First, here’s a shot of Brittney’s amazing dress.

The girls knew exactly what they wanted for their formal shots and we definitely got some fun ones!

The guys got some fun ones too.  I have to say, this is the best jumping shot I’ve captured yet.

The reception was held at La Buena Vida Vineyards in Grapevine.  The staff were so nice and helpful, and of course, the location was beautiful.
