Elijah the penguin

October 29, 2008

Elijah is my son Ben’s best friend. (If you can have a best friend at the age of 1.) His mommy wanted some pictures of him in his Halloween costume. We thought a white background would be perfect for a little penguin, but Elijah was not a fan of the paper! As soon as we set him down, off he went!

I did manage to get some cute pictures of him though!

Fun family session!

October 26, 2008

I shot Katie and Tyler’s anniversary photos about a year and a half ago, before I was even in business. It was fun to have another session with them!

Pongo is one of my favorite dogs!

They wanted to get a few individual portraits done as well. Katie has such pretty eyes!

That’s all for now! I’ve got to get caught up on some other sessions. Whew!

Just a preview of the engagement photos I did for Dinma and Ezemdi at the Mandalay Canal in Los Colinas! Don’t you just love their traditional Nigerian attire?

I did Deidre and Zach’s engagement photos back in April, and I had the privilege of shooting their wedding last weekend! It was a beautiful wedding at Clark Gardens in Weatherford.

NEW portrait option!

October 12, 2008

I purchased a portable studio last week. What does that mean, you say? Well, I now have the ability to offer child portraits on plain paper backdrops in addition to the candid on-location photos that I normally offer, just in time for Christmas. This means if grandma wants a more traditional photo to frame in her living room, you now have the option of giving that to her instead of braving the lines at generic studios.

Currently I am offering white and black backdrops, but I will be adding several more colors in the future!

Here are a couple of quick snaps that I took of my son on the new white backdrop.
