I am so glad you found your way to the Jamie Coupaud Photography blog! Please enjoy the portrait session sneak peeks, wedding teasers, and the other random tidbits I post.

Just a little bit about me – I am a mom to two boys – a crazy 3 year old and gorgeous 6 month old who amaze me every day. I am a creative person who enjoys learning to look at the world in new ways. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved photography. I can remember shooting tons artsy pictures with disposable cameras as a kid and driving my parents crazy begging to get all the film developed. Then in June 2006 I got my first DSLR – a Nikon D50. It was my absolute dream camera at the time and I had so much fun with it. Since then I have upgraded several times, but I still use Nikon.

But more important than all the equipment in the world is that I love what I do! I feel so blessed to meet new people all the time and get to know them while I am working. One of my favorite feelings in the world is when a client becomes a friend.

Lauren and Peter :: Grapevine, TX Wedding Photographer

I must have checked the weather a hundred times before Lauren and Peter’s wedding! There was a 30% chance of thunderstorms all day on Saturday, but as you can see, the sun decided to make an appearance for their beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine.

Hello, Summer! :: Dallas Wedding Photographer

Wow, summer is really here, isn’t it? Despite the 100+ temperatures, I had a lot of fun second-shooting this wedding for my friend Mollie at Highland Park United Methodist Church. The reception was at the lovely Warkwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas.

Product Spotlight – wedding DVD’s :: Denton TX photographer

A little change is a good thing! :: Denton Texas Photographer

I refreshed the look of the blog just a little bit last night. It feels good! You’ll notice the banner at the top doesn’t have rotating images anymore. I am planning to feature a different picture on there every week! I am excited.

The picture up there right now is from Jen and Chad’s wedding last August. I will always love this picture!

It was taken in downtown Fort Worth after Jen and Chad’s ceremony. We took this shot in a hurry because it was quickly getting dark outside! It wasn’t an easy shot, but it was totally worth all the trouble.

Congratulations Tara & Brian! :: Dallas wedding photographer

Tara and Brian were married on Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas. Wow, what a huge and beautiful church! (You will see what I mean when you scroll down a bit.) Their reception was at 2616 Commerce in Deep Ellum. I loved both venues and had so much fun shooting the wedding!
