I just want to say thank you to everyone for your patience with me these past few weeks! I think I have finally caught up on all my emails, but if I somehow missed you, please drop me a line and let me know. It is definitely not my intention to ignore anyone.

I can’t believe my newborn is 3.5 weeks old now. We are finally all settling in to the new routine. If you have kids, you know this means that the routine is going to change again soon! Just when things start to settle, everything changes again. Ah, the joys of parenthood. :)

I am enjoying my maternity leave so much that I have to remind myself to take pictures of my own children!  Rather than sharing sweet pictures of my little guy, I thought I’d share some photos of reality.  :)

Right now it is naptime, and I’m hoping to catch up on some emails and bookkeeping if my little guy will sleep long enough.

One of my big goals for 2010 is to offer MORE fun products with my wedding packages.  My middle and upper wedding packages now include proofbooks.  I offer several options for these books, but the one I am featuring today is an 8×10 spiral bound with leatherette portfolio cover.  It is classy enough to display on your coffee table, but much more affordable than a traditional flushmount album. (Check back in a few weeks for a post on flushmount albums!)

The spiral bound insides can be easily removed from the cover.

12 images per page makes it possible to include all of your final images in this book!

I am here! (barely)

January 13, 2010

Micah Jeremiah Coupaud entered the world on January 7, 2010, exactly 3 weeks early.  Not to brag, but that is the exact date I predicted he’d be born.  Okay, I am totally bragging. ;-) Our little family is adjusting very well, but I want to warn everyone that I will be a little bit slower to respond to emails and phone calls for the next few weeks.

With that said, I am still meeting with clients and booking weddings and portrait sessions while I am on maternity leave.  I am just not scheduling any shooting (unless previously scheduled with an existing client) until after March 1.  So feel free to contact me and ask for information – just be patient as it may take a little while to receive a response. :-)

I am going to update the blog with my 2010 portrait and wedding pricing as soon as I get a chance.  I am very excited because this year I am offering SO much more in terms of services and products.  I can’t wait to show you!

And here are a couple of pictures of my new little one.  I haven’t done a real newborn session with him yet (I know, bad photographer mommy!) but it will happen soon.

My hubby took this right after he was born. (He did a good job, huh?!)  Micah was SO tired.

His big brother Ben adores him.

Lacey and Scott’s wedding is my last wedding before maternity leave and it was perfect!  I had the pleasure of having Brandi Thompson shoot with me and we had a blast.

I had an incredibly hard time trimming down this blog entry to a reasonable length.  It’s definitely longer than usual!
